As of October 30, 2022, LVO approach operations with a DH below 100 ft and an RVR of less than 300 m are only called CAT III - no further subcategories (A/B/C) are used. Each operator is then approved for a specific set of minima (DH/RVR), which are stated in the OPS SPEC. However, generic charts (such as Jeppesen) will not provide the lowest minima for the airport (e.g. corresponding to the former CAT IIIB) even if the operator is not approved for these. Make sure you crews are aware of this and use the actually approved minima. Old approvals for CAT IIIA/B will be considered to be CAT III approvals with the corresponding minima.
